Oil on linen panel, 36 inch diameter
“This one’s a coming together, a mixing up of ideas and symbols and approaches I’ve been obsessing on lately. It’s first of all an “Awha’y” picture, so it’s about Ojai and the energy in and around it - the way it feels to be here awash in so much wild and cultivated magic. It’s also ROUND, so I’m bending and warping perspective and thinking about the curve of the planet and the shape of our eyes and eggs and so much else.”
